HOW TO SUBMIT AN ARTICLE

FORMATTING REQUIREMENTS

Please read the Formatting Requirements by clicking on the “FR” button. Articles must conform to these requirements as they relate to our standards in relation to Thompson Scientific ISI Citation Index criteria for inclusion in their database. The requirements also relate to high standards of image reproduction in the journal.

You may also check with the Manuscript Evaluation Form by clicking on “MEF” to see that your script conforms with it. The MEF is used by the referees when they referee a manuscript. These are the main points which referees use in their evaluation.

FIRST SUBMISSION

However for the first submission the manuscript must be in pdf format AND with images embedded in the text. This is to facilitate the evaluation process for the referees. The pdf must not exceed 1.00MB.Only AFTER the manuscript has been accepted for publication must the manuscript be submitted to the editor with text and images in separate files as described in the formatting requirements.

WHO TO SEND YOUR MANUSCRIPT TO

In order to help you decide who to send the manuscript to the following general rule can be applied. If the manuscript is for an “open issue” i.e non thematic, then send it to the Editor in Chief. If the manuscript is for a special issue then send it to the Guest Editor for that issue. Please check with the Forward Publishing Plan here by clicking on “FPP”.
